    It’s stated in 2nd 100-days action plan of Presidency that laying of rails will reach to 450 km in Ankara-Sivas HST line. That means half of the total line.

    Sivas train station will be closed for 8-12 months for engineering works due to Ankara-Sivas high speed train project. During this time, Bostankaya station, which is 28 km away from Sivas will be used. Shuttle service will run between two stations.

  1. Interesting that the Ankara-Kayaş section is to be part of the Başkentray project BUT why wasn’t any work done on this project when the Ankara Banliyö was shut long for a very long period a few years ago? A perfect opportunity wasted. Now travellers will have to be inconvnienced once again.
