How to get to Cappadocia from Istanbul by train?

Cappadocia is about 750 km away from Istanbul. Train is a little complex with many interchanges, but entertaining if you want to spend some time at cities on way.

You’ll use high speed train to Ankara and another train to Kayseri. Trains departing before noon from Ankara may take you to Kayseri in a reasonable time.

• Go to Pendik high speed train station.
• Take Istanbul Ankara HST to Ankara.
• Take Guney Kurtalan Express to Kayseri. Please also check Vangolu Express and Dogu Express as alternative.
• Rest in a hotel around Kayseri station.

How to get to Cappadocia from Ankara by train?

Cappadocia is about 300 km away from Ankara. Train may be prefered especially if you’d like to visit Kayseri as well.

You’ll use a direct train to Kayseri. Trains departing before noon from Ankara may take you to Kayseri in a reasonable time.

• Go to Ankara high speed train station.

You’ll use overnight train to Eskişehir, high speed train to Ankara and overnight train to Kayseri. Trains departing before noon from Ankara may take you to Kayseri in a reasonable time.

• Go to Basmane train station.
• Take Izmir Mavi to Eskişehir.

How to get to Cappadocia from Adana by train?

Cappadocia is less than 300 km away from Adana. Train will give you chance to visit Kayseri as well.

There’s a direct train to Kayseri from Adana. Arrival time may be late, arrange your further steps in advance.

• Go to Adana train station.
• Take Erciyes Express to Kayseri.
• Rest in a hotel around Kayseri station.
