Dining

Dining cars are available in some high speed trains and main line trains. A private company is givin service. Menu is limited, prices are not high. No alcohol.

Some economy and business class seats of high speed trains are sold with meal service. High speed trains also have snack bars where you can buy snacks and cold/hot beverages.

In international trains, compliment package with snacks and beverage is given.

Children

Children up to 6 years old can travel for free provided that a seat is not requested.

Children up to 12 years old can travel with half price.

Luggage

In high speed trains, one medium or 2 small luggages are allowed. More/bigger luggages are charged. Max 2 big or 2 medium or 3 small luggages are allowed per person.

In main line and regional trains, 1 big or 1 medium or 2 small luggages are allowed. More are charged according to distance and approximate weight.

In any case, the free-of-charge luggages cannot exceed 30 kg.

There are spaces for luggages in entrance and over seats in high speed trains, over seats in pulman wagons. In couchettes and sleepers, luggages are kept in the compartments.

Pets

Pets are allowed in high speed trains and standard carriages provided that;

  • must kept in cages suitable to carry by hand
  • must not annoy other passengers with smell or noise
  • must have a ticket (50% discount)
  • must have id and health report

Pets are not allowed in sleepers nor couchettes.

Bicycles

Folding bicycles which can fit in luggage space are allowed in trains.

Non-folding bicycles are allowed only if luggage wagons are available in trains.

In any case, max one bicycle per person is allowed.
