Transportation Ministry declared that tender for Kaynarca-Sabiha Gokcen Airport has completed and construction works started.

Gulermak-YSE Association is awarded for the construction of metro line and works started just after the contract was inked. The tender was on February 2015, and Gulermak-YSE had given the best offer with € 169.5 mn.

The line will be 7.4 km long and is agreed to be completed in March 2018. Sabiha Gokcen metro line will be connected to Kadikoy-Kartal-Kaynarca-Tuzla metro line. There’ll be also a connection to Pendik HST Station.

The metro line, which will be connected to Kadikoy-Tuzla line in Tavsantepe station, will have 4 stops: Fevzi Cakmak, Gullubaglar, Kurtkoy and Sabiha Gokcen Airport.
