Being one of the important fairs of railway industry, Eurasia Rail opens doors for the 10th time in Istanbul.

Biyearly railway fair of Turkey, Eurasia Rail, will open its doors at Istanbul Expo Center during 21-23 June. The fair was planned for March as usual, but had been postponed due to earthquake.

Last fair was held in 2021 with 156 companies from 16 countries on 7000 sqm and was visited by 7698 professionals, 616 of which were from out of Turkey. As restrictions of pandemic are ended, the exhibitors have reached to 200 companies this year and more visitors are expected.

Several business sessions and innovation talks are organized during the fair. Hyperloop will be discussed a couple of times during these events (Eurasia Rail Event Programme)

Some of the exhibitors are as follows:

Alstom: Company is Turkish market both with rolling stock and signalization projects. Latest project is Goztepe-Atasehir-Umraniye metro projects in Istanbul.

Aselsan: Developed unmanned signalization system for metro lines. It’s started to be used at Istanbul Airport metro.

Duray: Company had produced trams for Bursa, Samsun and Kocaeli. Last contract was 24 tram cars for Olsztyn, Poland.

Greenbrier: After acquiring Turkish freight wagon manufacturer (Rayvag), company recently completed an order of 75 tank wagons for Korfez Ulastirma.

Metro İstanbul: Having the biggest fleet among all Turkish cities, the operator of metro and tram lines of Istanbul has recently announced manufacturing its own tram, Tram34.

Siemens: Company is the producer of majority of high speed train sets that are used in Turkey and wants to continue supplying for existing and under-construction lines. On the other hand Turkey aims to produced HSTs locally.

SKF: As freight wagon manufacturers increased their exports to Europe fast in recent years, the need for a supply chain in European standards has incresaed. SKF aims to fulfill this need in its field.

Tübitak Rute: Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey has developed important projects on railway technologies.

Türasaş: Company is now the only state manufacturer of rolling stock. The suburban train sets for Gaziray, new EMU set, the electric loco E-5000 are the products introduced recently.

Yapı Merkezi: Company takes attention with important railway projects in Turkey, Africa and Balkans.
