I was convinced the train would stop in Tbilisi and have been waiting for it to start for ages, but a few days ago someone told me that she had heard it wouldn’t. Anyway, I haven’t found anything online, so it was probably just a rumour. Hopefully you’ll find out more as soon as possible and will post on this website!

You’re welcome. Bikes accepted if luggage car exists in train. I don’t think Kars trains have as standard. Station ticket office is the right place to ask.
Onur, Head End Power cars and wheelchair cars also accept bikes.
