Sm3, Finland

VR Sm3
At speed of 220 km/h between Kerava and Lahti in Finland the Sm3 tilting train in old red scheme passes Herrala bridge. The train has a power output of 4.000 kW and has 309 seats.

Sm3 Pendolino, Finlandiya

The Sm3 Pendolino in the new green livery is a high-speed tilting trains operated by Finish VR Group. The trains serve most of Finland’s major cities such as Helsinki, Turku, Oulu and Joensuu with a maximum speed of 220 km/h.

Sm6 Allegro, Finlandiya

VR Sm6 Allegro
The Sm6 Allegro is a 200 km/h high-speed train that operates on 1524 mm gauge in Finland and 1520 gauge in Russia between Helsinki and St. Petersburg. The wheel sets have 1522 mm gauge and are certified for 220 km/h. Operated by Karelian Trains, a 50–50 joint venture between VR Group and Russian Railways RZD. The units have dual-voltage electrical equipment able to use both the Finnish 25 kV 50 Hz AC and the Russian 3 kV DC electrification.

Sm6, Finlandiya

VR Sm6 Allegro
The Finish Sm6 high-speed trains are protected for harsh winter conditions, almost nonstop ice “bombardment” against the floor wall of the train happens at high-speed.
