The Trenitalia E 414 is a 200 km/h class of Italian high-speed electric trains. They were built in 1994-1996, in a total of 60 units.

The Trenitalia ETR 500 started end of 2005 regular services with their commercial top speed of 300 km/h on the Rome-Naples and Torino-Novara high-speed lines.
