A whole 200 km/h SBB Re 460 double deck train composition which connects St.Gallen with Geneva. It also uses about 50 km of high-speed line between Mattstetten and Rothrist under European Train Control System (ETCS).

The Swiss SBB RABDe 500, also named ICN for Intercity-Neigezug (tilting train), is a Swiss passenger high-speed train which was introduced in 2000. Mainly operating along lower frequency intercity routes has a maximum speed of 200 km/h.

All Swiss ICN are named by important or famous Swiss people. This one got the name of Grock, a famous artist. Therefore a special livery was applied with a tight-rope walker; the balance stick is the separations line between the cab and the coach body.

The Cisalpino Company was a joint venture between Swiss SBB and Italian Trenitalia, which operated ETR 470 high-speed trains between 1993 and 1999. Because of many technical issues the owners stopped cooperation and gave back the trains equally to SBB and Trenitalia.
