Izmir Metropolitan Municipality opened tender for preliminary analysis of monorail connection to recently opened fair area Fuar Izmir in Gaziemir.

8 companies gave offer for the tender. The monorail project is double track, 2.2 km-long and has 2 stations. 3 driverless sets will operate on line, each has 3 cars.

Line will start from Izban (Izmir Suburban Line) Esbas Station, cross Akcay Street, go parallel to highway and reach to Fuar Izmir.
