Train service between Zonguldak and Karabuk started yesterday.

As the track renewal works completed between Zonguldak-Karabuk, the train service between Zonguldak and Filyos is now extended to Karabuk.

There’ll be daily train service in each direction on Zonguldak-Filyos-Gokcebey-Karabuk section where three services on Zonguldak-Filyos-Gokcebey section.

Travel time on 121-km-long Zonguldak-Karabuk section will be 3.5 hours. Travel time by bus on the same route is between 1.5-2 hours. Trains will run faster after signalization works completed on the section.

DMS sets with 132 passenger capacity will give the service.
