Conventional wagons will be able to arrive Halkali again after 3 years.

TCDD recently announced that Halkali Terminal will be open to conventional wagons starting from 6th of June, 2016. The terminal was opened for container and semi trailer trains since November 2015.

Rail logistics companies will probably wait for the decision about closure of Halkali-Corlu railway due to construction works in rail bridges before using Halkali densely.

Halkali Terminal had been the most important terminal for conventional wagons in Europe-Turkey traffic with long loading ramps and covered warehouses, both for imports and exports.
