Fare for accessing Turkish railway network starts from 2 TL/km.

TCDD published the fare for accessing rail infrastructure in Turkey. A freight train running regularly on a light traffic with gross weight less than 1000 to will pay 2 TL/train-km.

Fare will be 10% higher for a train of 1800-gross-tonnes.

Rush to liberalization

On a railway section with heavy traffic, the fare will increase by 50%.

Fares will be doubled for passenger trains and trippled for high speed trains.
