In the year of 2009 Turkey entered the high-speed market with Spanish CAF HT65000 trains, joining other countries in Europe and Asia (USA has a small high-speed development only). Turkey will spend over 32 billion US$ for further high-speed development until 2023 and will connect Istanbul with the East and South of the country.
