Preliminary analysis will soon start for a new tram line in Antalya.

Antalya Metropolitan Municipality will accept applications for preliminary qualification of project works of Varsak-Muze tram line on 7th of August.

The new line will start from Varsak and follow Main Bus Station-University Hospital-Research Hospital-Antalya Museum. The line will be connected to the current nostalgic tram line, which will be renewed as double track. The whole line will be 23 km long with this renewed part.

The tender includes research about passenger demands and current traffic, ground analysis, distance to power distribution units and harmony with city plans.

These works are expected to last 200 days.
