Adana–Kayseri train service suspended


Passenger train service between Adana and Kayseri will be suspended on 15th of February.

Erciyes Express, the daily passenger train service beween Adana and Kayseri will be suspended beginning with 15th of February.

Suspension is done due to signalization and electrification works between Ulukisla and Yenice. The train service will not start this year.

Cukurova Express, Ankara-Adana passenger train service will continue giving service for now, but is expected to be suspended soon.

Ulukisla-Yenice railway will continue to be open for freight trains.

  1. The TCDD website has now been amended to show the Kayseri – Adana train pair to be suspended until 31/12/16. Given previous experience, this date should be treated with a good degree of caution. All it really means is that no services will run during 2016, but there is absolutely no guarantee they will restart on 01/01/17.
