Türkiye’de halen iki farklı hızlı tren seti hizmette: CAF ve Siemens. 

CAF

There are 12 CAF high speed train sets in TCDD fleet.

Turkey’s first HST sets are from Spanish manufacturer: CAF. There are 6 wagons in each train.

One of the wagons is for business class. It has 2+1 seats, multi media screen and electric plugs on each seat. There are 55 business class seats in CAF train set.

Rest of the wagons are for economy class with 2+2 seats. There are 354 economy class seats and 2 wheelchair places in one set.

There is space over seats for luggage. On enterance of each wagon, there’s a WC and space for big suitcases.

A half of one economy class wagon is designed as snack bar where limited variety of snacks, hot and non-alcholic cold beverages are sold.

Siemens

Number of Siemens Velaro sets in TCDDT’s fleet has reached to 19 as last set of 12-sets-order was delivered in February 2021.

There are 8 cars in each train set.

First car is for business class. It has 2+1 seats, multi media screen and electric plugs on each seat. There are 45 business class seats.

A part of second car is for business compartments. Each train has 3 compartments, each compartment has 4 seats. Business compartments have all features of business class and have additional privacy.

There’s a restaurant car in the train.

Rest of the wagons are for economy class with 2+2 seats. There are 424 economy class seats. There are also two wheelchair places in economy class.

There are luggage space over seats. Each car has its own toilet and some space for big suitcases at the enterance.
