Istanbul Metro started survey about “woman-only-cars”.

“woman-only-cars” are generally put into practice where harassment is frequently seen in metros. Only women and under-age children are accepted into some cars of metros.

Brazil (Rio de Jenario), Japan, Malezia, Indonezia, India and Iran are the countries with “woman-only-cars”. Some limit this in some lines during rush hour.

In Brazil (Sao de Paulo), Taiwan and England, “woman-only-cars” were cancelled due to prevention of discrimination, complaints of married couples and low demand.
