The special train tour from Istanbul to Thesselonike departs on 8th of October.
As special tours are expected to become widespread by liberalization, the first special train tour is being organized to Thesselonike, to the city where Ataturk, the founder of Turkish Rebuplic was born, on the day of his death anniversary.
The tour is being organized by Raytur, a subsidiary of TCDD Foundation. The train will follow Istanbul-Drama-Thesselonike-Istanbul. Passengers will stay two nights at sleepers and one night at a hotel at Thesselonike.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner is included in the tour with the prices starting from 650 €/person.
These special train tours are generally very expensive all around the world. Trans-Siberian Express is one of the most famous one with prices about € 10k/person.
