Hopper wagons manufactured by RC Endüstri have started to be delivered to Europe.

These Tapps type wagons are going to carry salt, potassium hydrate and fertilizer. They have a capacity of 75 cbm and 15 meters long. 4 discharge outlets of wagons are produced by structural steel and can carry up to 67.5 tones.

Swiss wagon operator has determined suppliers from 4 countries. RC Endüstri from Turkey, was the first to complete design, technology, certification and prototype works and started delivery of car bodies. The total order is 150 bodies with possible extension. RC Endüstri is expected to get an important share from this order. This delivery is the first block export of freight wagons from Turkey.

These hopper wagons, loaded from top and discharged from bottom, are widely used for transportation of granular goods. Tülomsas had also produced hopper wagons a few years ago. These Tanpps type wagons of RC Endüstri, unlike others, can both discharge to middle and sides. This innovation provides usage of wagons in different sites and industries and flexibility for the wagon owner. These are the first TSI certificated hopper wagons manufactured in Turkey.
