Baku-Tbilisi-Kars connection attracts attention at Logitrans Fair which opened door on 14th of Nov.

Turkey’s biggest logistics fair, Logitrans opened its doors on 14th of Nov. Today is the third and last day of the fair.

Italy is the largest foreign parcipant group in fair together with Germany. 14 Italian companies were at the fair, mainly from Trieste. Trieste, with very strong Ro-Ro services to/from Turkey, has become the center of the leading transport corridor between Europe and Turkey.

Baku-Tbilisi-Kars transport corridor’s all partners have participated the fair very actively. Logistics partners of Georgia, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan railways are all in the fair. Members of The International Association “Trans-Caspian International Transport Route” have also participated the fair. The association will organize a session “Belt and Road: Opportunities and Threads in Turkey and Eurasia” today.

First year report of Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway

The participants of the fair is less this year, mainly due to companies from Turkey. 64 companies from Turkey participated this year. This number was 82 last year.
