Made-in-Turkey pipes for Slovakia project

Steel pipes produced in Turkey will be used for the new natural gas pipeline between Slovakia and Poland.

The 470-km-long new natural gas pipeline project connecting Tworóg, PL to Veľké Kapušany, SK will use steel pipes of Turkish pipe company Noksel.

The new line will reconnect Polish and Slovakian natural gas networks with an alternative line. This will allow usage of alternative resources and routes. The new resources via Turkey and Black Sea will be connected to Polond using this line.

Made-in-Turkey pipes will reach to 100 km. Transport of the pipes are being done by trains. Baskentray Logistics is the main carrier with full support of TCDDT. KLN Logistics, Bulmarket, Gefco, Srbija Kargo, Ekol Hungary, TT Logistics and EA Rail also take part in tranport.

4 trains have departed until now. Recently produced Rgns type wagons are being used for this project. The trains cross Marmara Sea using Tekirdag-Derince ferry. The main line connecting Serbia to Hungary is closed due to engineering works, thus alternative route is being used from Belgrade to Subotico.
