Leading railway fair to open doors after 4 years


World’s leading railway fair, Innotrans will soon open doors at Berlin.

The leading railway fair which used to be organized biyearly, but was not in 2020 due to pandemic, will open its doors on 20th of September. Settled on complete area of Berlin exhibition center, Innotrans will last 4 days.

Being one of the most important event of railway industry, 3062 companies from 60 countries had participated, over 153k professionals from 149 counties visited Innotrans in 2018.

The fair is settled on 190k sqm with 42 halls. Companies exhibit in 5 categories: Railway infrastructure, railway technologies, public transport, interior and tunnel construction.

Outdoor display – InnoTrans 2018

One of the most attractive section is the outdoor display with 3500 meters long tracks. In this section locos, high speed trains, multiple sets, commuter trains, metro and tram cars, commuter trains, freight wagons, shunting machines, railway construction/maintanance machines are displayed. Visitors will be able to see them up close, walk in and examine driver’s cabs and engines. 3 companies from Turkey which increased their exports in recent years fast, Bozankaya, Gokyapi and RC Endustri will also exhibit their products here.

Bus display – InnoTrans 2018

Another attraction in fair is the bus display section. Producers will able to exhibit and even run their busses in 500 meters long circuit. Two companies from Turkey -having a strong market and industry- will exhibit products here: Otakar and Karsan.

Innotrans Campus – InnoTrans 2018

Another interesting section in fair is to bring together railway professionals and companies: Innotrans Campus. Companies will present themselves in RecruitingLab. TalentStage is for young talents. Compaines will give 30-min lecturers where talents will have 90-sec slots to express themselves. Within the Campus, there will be JobWall with the latest job vacancies from exhibitors.

The ticket valid all 4-days-long is 75 €. Daily tickets cost 50 € for visitors, 13 € for students. Tickets provide free usage of public transport during its validity period. Exhibition area is 10 km long from city center. S-Bahn (Messe Nord/ICC or Messe Süd stations) and U-Bahn (Kaiserdamm or Theodor-Heuss-Platz stations) connections are available.
