China connected to Europe in 15 days by rail


While Turkey is trying to create a main corridor between Europe and Asia by Marmaray Project, north corridor between Asia and Europe is growing.

A new intermodal train had started from Zhengzhou, China to Hamburg,Germany by Zhengzhou International in cooperation with DB Schenker.

The train covered the 10,214 kilometer route through China, Kazakhstan, Russia, Belarus and Poland to Germany in a record time of just 15 days with 51 containers.

DB Schenker had also set up regular weekly block train service between China and Germany mainly for the automotive and electronics industry.
