Directorate General of Highways published statistics of 2013 for international transports by truck in Turkey. According to the table, the Top-10 companies with the number of international truck transports are as follows:

Not only the order, but also the shares have changed deeply in last 5 years.

The first two companies of this Top-10 list are famous with their intermodal solution to Europe, where trailers and containers are carried to Europe first on Ro-Ro to Trieste and then on trains to Northwest Europe.

A combination of trucks, Ro-Ro and trains have become a popular solution. A number of companies invested in cranable trailers. And railway and terminal operators in Europe invested in pocket wagons and other equipments. Very regular and fast train services in Europe easily compete with trucks in main routes. And flexible and cheap last-mile solutions with Turkish plate trucks complete the solution.

While all truck companies are under the high pressure of their clients in terms of transportation costs, some succeeded in creating difference with combined railway projects.
