The new high speed train set, produced by Siemens for Turkey, has departed from Germany yesterday night.

This high speed set is the first of six Velaro TR sets, specially produced by Siemens for Turkey. The set is being transported by a German company, Rail Adventure, specialized in transportation of rolling stock.

In addition to 8-pieces of high speed train set, there are two adapter wagons which enable connecting high speed train set to other rail cars and 15 freight wagons to ensure braking capability of the whole train.

The train set is expected to arrive Turkey in the middle of next week.
