The test lab of Tulomsas, subsidiary of TCDD manufacturing locos and freight wagons, got international accreditation.

Turkish Accreditation Office (TURKAK) accredited Tulomsas’s test lab based on TS EN ISO/IEC 17025:2012.

This accreditation shows that hardness (Brinell, Vickers, Rockwell), pushing and dashing (Charpy) tests, which are applied to materials and semi-products during production of rolling stock, are being done in international standards.

This accreditation has international validity which is expected to ease developing projects with global partners.

There are only a few organizations have similar accreditation, TSE, Kosgeb and some universities. Thus, Tulomsas is willing to give service in this lab not only for its own, but also for its suppliers and other companies as well.
