The first network statement prepared by TCDD is announced to be published by the end of this month.
One of the critical steps of liberalization of railway transportation, publishing of network manifest covering technical details, rules, procedures and fees for capacity allocation of railway network is planned to be done in forthcoming days.
The draft of network statement was delivered to Transport Ministry. Based on feedback and suggestions of Railway Authority, TCDD has finalized the draft and is planning to send to Ministry within this month.
Network statement will be the route map of train operators, will be published every year and will trigger the capacity allocation in Turkish railway network.
