Samsun to meet trains

The most important opening about infrastructure is Samsun-Kalin railway which was kept closed over 3 years. The line is renewed and signalized and is expected to open in early 2019. The line has now more capacity for both passenger trains and freight trains.

In the first quarter of 2019 the signalization of Bandirma-Balikesir line and electrification of Ulukisla-Yenice line are announced to be completed.

Though there’s no official statement, the signalization of Ankara-Sincan has got the focus and is expected to be completed in 2019.

Bandirma-Tekirdag ferry was recently tested. The ferry that is currently giving service between Tekirdag and Derince will also run between Bandirma and Tekirdag as soon as the construction works are completed in the port.

The second ferry will also start service on Van Lake in 2019.
