Hyundai became the fifth automobile brand to be carried to Turkey by train after Skoda, Renault, BMW and Dacia in 2014.

Car carrier wagons of BLG arrived to Derince yesterday carrying brand new Hyundai cars from Czech Republic. The transport was organized by Hödlmayr for Hyundai Glovis, where DB Schenker was the operator in Europe and Konsped was in Turkey.

This is the 7th car carrier train arrived to Turkey in 2014. Although trains cannot succeed in being the main transport mode for any of these brands, there has been an increasing interest for testing rail option by automotive companies in Turkey.
