Livery and internal design of Karsiyaka-Konak trams which are under construction in Izmir are determined. Blue and turquaz will be the main colors in new design.
Livery of Izmir tram
The trams is being produced by Hyundai Rotem, 32 meters long and have a capacity of 285 passengers. Daily ridership is expected to reach to 95k in Konak line and 87k in Karsiyaka line.
Konak line is 12.7 km long and has 19 stops where Karsiyaka line is 9.87 km long and has 15 stops. 38 trams will run on two lines. Trams will have connections to Izmir suburban and metro systems. The lines is planned to open by the end of 2017 and cost TL 390 mn.
