Global accomaditon and travel supply portal, Amadeus, now targets to add TCDD Tasimacilik to its portfolio.
The company stated that talks have been going on with TCDD Tasimacilik to include trains of Turkey to online supplier platform of Amadeus. Amadeus provides an online platform for accomodation and travel suppliers and agencies to sell their products.
The Turkey country manager stated that Turkey is one of the target markets of Amadeus in additon to BRIC countries and the train services of TCDD Tasimacilik is one of the services that the company is willing to include.
If agreed, many agencies all around the world including Turkey will be able to sell train services of TCDD Tasimacilik using the Amadeus platform. Such a platform will help marketing of especially international trains and connected domestic trains of Turkey.
Althougn Amadeus is famous with hotels and airways included, there are 90 railway companies in their system.
