Samsun-Kalin railway will be closed soon due to renewal and signalization works.

Construction, renewal and signalization works will start on the 372-km-long Samsun-Kalin railway which connects Samsun and Samsun Port to national railway network.  Due to the start of engineering works, the line will be closed to all freight and passenger traffic by 28.09.2015.

Different than the first announced closure program, the whole line will be closed. The engineering works are announced to be completed by the end of 2017.

This EU funded project will be done by Celikler-Gulermak-AZD.
