Ankara-Istanbul HST line

Though the line is in operation, some parts have not been completed yet, thus trains are using conventional lines. For completion of remaining parts, there’s a budget of TL 354 mn. The toughest part is Vezirhan-Kosekoy section, which needs TL 2 bn, but has only a budget of TL 60 mn this year.

Bursa-Osmaneli HST line

This project has progressed very slow until now. It has a budget of TL 250 mn this year. TL 2 bn is spent until now. It’s expected to cost TL 3 bn. Construction works have not completed. Rails, electrification and signalization has not started.

Konya-Karaman HST line

This will be the only HST opening this year. Electrification and signalization works continue.

Halkalı-Kapikule HST line

This project is funded by EU. Tender was opened last year for Kapikule-Cerkezkoy and tender for Halkali-Cerkezkoy will open soon. Budget is TL 250 mn for this year.
