Cities you can travel by train from Izmir
Izmir is at western coast of Turkey with strongest train connection with neighbour cities. Using Izmir Mavi, it’s possible to use all trains departing from Ankara.
All trains from Izmir are now using Basmane station. Only suburban trains are calling at Alsancak, which once used to host all trains to north.
There are three cities that you can travel to and use a connected train: Ankara, Eskisehir and Konya.
